Our skin is very delicate, soft, and sensitive. So, to keep it good, we need to give the best protection. The first effect of season change is on our skin. Every season it needs a different type of protection.

Mainly in winter, it needs more protection than the rest of the seasons. In winter skin becomes very ruff, dead, and dry.

To make it healthy follow these tips:

Stay hydrated.
Your skin will naturally follow suit, by keeping your body hydrated. You must need to drink H2O as much as possible. Set a reminder on your phone if you fail to remind it.

Swap your moisturizer.
During the winter months Use a rich, oil-based moisturizer. it helps seal water in your skin and keeps it softer.

Avoid chemical-filled soaps.
Especially in winter, you must choose natural and organic soaps for your skin because chemical-filled soaps may add dryness to your skin.

Turn down the heat.
In the winter it feels great to slip into a tub of hot water but some have a habit of overdoing it a bit high the temperature of the water. The heat of the water helps us to dry out our skin very fast, it mixed with soap depletes the natural oils on the skin. When you get out of the shower and your skin is red and itchy, it means the water is drying out your skin.

Use coconut oil.
For skincare, coconut oil is a highly effective product. Due to its high levels of ferulic and p-coumaric acid, it keeps your skin looking youthful and smooth. So, apply it before the bath.

Overnight Moisturize.
Due to thin skin and tend to lose moisture faster than other areas on the body, apply deep moisturizing on hands, feet, elbows, and knees in the night and wear cotton gloves or socks until morning.

Use DIY Masks
In the winter, homemade hydrating masks can provide needed moisture. Use ingredients like honey, avocado, yogurt, olive and jojoba oils, almond oil, bananas, and aloe. Apply this with cream or paste and leave it for 10-30 minutes.

Use serums
Serums are your best friend in winter. Apply the best quality serums before reaching for a daily moisturizer to make your skin smooth and hydrated.

No more red noses
The nose can quickly become red and irritated due to it is always exposed to the elements, to avoid this use sunscreen after your usual daily moisturizer.

Diet
In winter, food plays a major role to make our skin glamorous. Foods rich in omega-3s like fish as wells as foods like nuts, fats, and seasonal veggies can be great for your skin. You must avoid sugar because it leads to acne, eczema, or wrinkles.

Always keep a lip balm handy
During the winter season, the Chapped lip is one of the major problems in life. Which can be taken care of with the application of a hydrating balm. You must prefer to use a balm that contains almond oil, coconut oil, wheat germ oil, aloe Vera, sunflower oil, coconut oil, or cottonseed oil.
